Production 2- Interview

12/17-12/18: I have been searching for ideas of people to interview for my feature article. During this process I have communicated with others for ideas and thought of some people who would be willing and make time to  do  the interview. I have been considering going to the beach for some of my pictures over the break that we have for the winter. I hope to find someone I can interview and take pictures of there.  I will make sure to keep the theme of a affordable beach vacations  and  continue to find places to take pictures.  The village in  Sarasota  is by the beach and would be the perfect spot to both find a tourist from out of state as well as festive holiday decorations.  This will hopefully knock two things off my list and help me develop a better idea for my magazine.

Production 1- Photo Locations/Information

12/14- 12/16:   I have searched and found locations where I want to take pictures, for my feature article and main cover.  This was not too difficult a task, as I live near these locations. I will make my way to the beach for the cover photo and then go to the local shopping area near me (University Town Ce nter ) and   take my feature article photos there to show people what it is like in the town and showcase the lit up palm trees. I know some people who live by the beach so I will also go to their house and take pictures for the aesthetic appeal of a beach vacation.  I had already had in mind the locations when doing my  storyboard   so this was easy to really set up , I  just  had to figure out when I would have time to take them .  I will be using both my iPhone 12 and a professional camera that my mom owns to take these photos. I hope to now figure out who I will be interviewing for the feature article. I actually went out and started t...

Storyboard

Image
While creating my storyboard, I had to develop a real sense of what I was going to do. This made me think a lot and  made me really understan d  as well as  picture my entire concept . Going into this I had an idea of what my titles were going to be and what pictures I was going to do, but once I started the story board  process this idea really came to life.  I did not really enjoy thinking of pictures or coloring them for that matter, but I did enjoy being creative with titles and being able to organize the way that my article was going to look.  I liked seeing it all come together, even though it is not 100% for sure yet.  “When you put ideas on storyboards, you begin to see interconnections - you see how one idea relates to another”,  t his quote from the article “Storyboard Your  Way to Success"  is something that I really relate to especially over the time that I have been working on my vision.  The more ideas that I th...
