       After participating in the tutorials of InDesign and Premiere Pro, I have now seen the positives and negatives, to both. Premiere pro will be able to help me edit and put together a movie,  if I   choose it. While InDesign will help me edit a magazine cover, content page, and feature article.  Personally, I found  Premiere  Pro to  be running slowly.  This may be because it was run on a school co mputer; however, it was super hard to navigate, for example, the cutting feature which allows you to cut the video, seemed easy to use but was hard for me to get the hang of it. Overall, InDesign was much easier to learn, and get down, it also allowed more options, for example, more color and text options .       I always thought that people bought magazines, specifically for the articles. To my surprise, I have realized that this is not the case. Many people are drawn to magazine just by the color of the magazine, or the pictures on the front cover. Although the big text brings people in and makes them more interested in the magazine, the text is not what pulls them in initially.       My initial impressions to the magazines we looked  at  was that the colors and pictures really jumped out at me. It was easy to tell what the articles inside were going to be about, because the text was in bold and was large. Looking at the magazines, showed me that it takes every single factor of the article to make it good, and entertaining.      The intro to a movie may arguably be the most important part of a movie. Although most people don't realize this, the intro sets the scene for the movie and gives us insight on what is going to happen.         As we viewed the opening scenes of multiple films I was impacted by the feelings they gave off and noticed many things. One thing that I noticed happened in a lot of the movies, was that the music in the background related to what was going on in the scene and was foreshadowing the rest of the movie. For example, in the opening scene for the movie "Saturday Night Fever", the music that played in the background was an upbeat disco type of music. I was already suspicious of it being a disco movie, but once I heard the upbeat music I knew for sure. Many films also use their opening scenes to present their credits and title screen.
